We’re looking for smart, energetic people to join our team of next generation sales professionals.
In this role you will be responsible for driving sales of our EDA software products.  You will work within a team of veteran EDA salespeople, engaging with customers to understand their EDA software needs and to close new business. You will work with technical experts to competitively position our solutions to increase sales.  You will be expected to learn quickly and to become a contributing member of the Synopsys sales force.

Key Qualifications:Effective communication with a broad range of technical and non-technical people.  Ability to listen actively, ask the right questions, and explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.BS or BA with 3+ years sales or business development experience.Possess a basic understanding of sales techniques and strategies. This includes being able to identify customer needs, handle objections, and close transactions.  Capable to explain the benefits and features of a product and how to position against competitive options.Proven ability to work in a matrix environment with strong organization and program management skills.  Should be able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team. Strong aptitude to work alongside other salespeople, marketing personnel, and technical support staff.  This includes collaborating with colleagues on deals, sharing information and insights, and contributing to a positive team culture.Preferred Experience:A basic understanding of integrated circuit design and/or semiconductor ecosystem knowledgeA history of success selling or supporting complex technical products and services preferably around the semiconductor industryExperience building positive relationships with customers and selling business value to executives.Experience in EDA sales or business development of products supporting the semiconductor industry. Background in analog, digital, IP and/or ASIC design implementation. Knowledge of hardware, software, high performance computing, and related industries and verticals.Ability to manage complex business and technical engagements resulting in customer success and business growth.
