This is a home-based role and can be located anywhere in the United States.

 

At Sensient BioNutrients, we help companies manufacture products of fermentation (ex: food cultures, probiotics, enzymes, etc) more efficiently. We do this by developing and manufacturing yeast-derived and plant-derived extracts that help in increasing metabolite yield, improving cell counts or increasing stability of various microorganisms.  Our technical expertise in various extraction technologies creates eco-friendly, high-performance ingredients to solve increasing challenges faced by the fermentation market.  

What will you do?

TECHNICAL SALES:  Solve our customer’s innovation challenges, specifically helping manufacturers optimize production of fermentation products such as probiotics and food cultures, using Sensient ingredients and providing product insights and related science. Collaborate with our Global Technical Service Manager to provide technical support and act as a consultant to our customers.  TERRITORY GROWTH: You will be given ownership over your sales territory with the ability to manage and grow your business. As a part of a dynamic team, you will have internal resources such as R&D and technical service structured to support and ensure your success. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:  Develop relationships with current and new prospects and close sales at new accounts.  Build a robust pipeline of near and long-term opportunities. 

What will you bring with you?

A strategic approach to developing business and winning new accounts, ideally in the B2B specialty ingredients. A technical degree in the natural sciences. Success record of selling highly technical, value-added solutions to a professional audience. The drive and passion to win.
