Sales Account Manager (31550)
 

Principle Objective:

We’ve got an opening for a Sales Account Manager based in London who will be responsible for developing and growing Crown Workspace in the London and South East region. You’ll be responsible for developing new and existing business opportunities across the full range of services as well as building our delivery capabilities.

 

Skills/ Experience:

Skills: Proven ability to manage and nurture client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Skilled in identifying client needs, providing tailored solutions, and maintaining regular communication to foster long-term partnerships. Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques in a commercial moving / workspace organisation. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skilled in negotiating contracts and closing deals. Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Technically Proficient. Experience: Experience managing key accounts and client relationships. Experience in commercial moving or related industry. Proven track record in sales, preferably in a B2B environment. Experience in managing projects from inception to completion. Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for additional services. Regularly update clients on project progress and address any concerns promptly. Devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving sales targets. Map potential customers and generate leads for Crown Workspace. Proactively generate new opportunities. Ensure service levels are maintained and developed in line with demand. Responsible for service quality and achieving performance targets. Provide support in other regions as needed (e.g., Wales, South West, Midlands, North, Scotland, and Ireland). Deliver presentations to existing clients and new prospects. Participate in sales events and manage the exhibition stand.

 

Performance Standards and Management

Set an example and be a source of inspiration for team members. Focus on both selling and maintaining/improving client relationships. Ensure effective client relationship management, a key role that Crown Workspace has successfully maintained throughout its existence.

 

Financial

Support the annual budget process: Assist the UKI Sales Manager and Sales Director in reviewing overall sales targets and budget allocations. Produce monthly reports on revenue and profits: Track and report on the company's financial performance, highlighting key metrics and trends. Provide monthly reports on the pipeline of future works: Maintain and update a detailed report on upcoming projects and potential revenue streams.

 

Existing or new Corporate Accounts

Regularly visit client sites (weekly for major clients) to understand projected workloads and allocate resources accordingly."To liaise with onsite team to ensure efficient use of Crown Workspace resources. To attend pre-arranged meetings with clients and provide quotations where required. To attend monthly / quarterly meeting with corporate clients, and provide management information, as well as addressing any outstanding issues with regards to invoicing, crates, claims, etc. To sign off works with client and ensure that invoices presented within agreed format and timeframe

 

Quality and Operational Excellence

Ensure all processes comply with ISO standards. Support the retention and acquisition of all ISO standard accreditations. Conduct internal audits as per the agreed schedule. Participate in the ongoing program for Operational Excellence as directed

 

 

Health and Safety

Work with Crown’s compliance team to ensure all Health & Safety (H&S) areas are fully addressed and comply with all relevant laws and Crown’s corporate Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures. Monitor and control contractors in line with company and site procedures, including the completion of work permits and associated documentation. Ensure all staff are trained in Health & Safety matters, including safe systems of work. Produce site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements for project requirements.
