This role is responsible for driving sales of digital printing presses to flexible packaging converters, leveraging consultative selling techniques to engage clients and develop tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling capital equipment to the flexible packaging industry. This role requires strategic sales planning, relationship management, and technical expertise to position the organization’s digital printing solutions as a competitive advantage for customers.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate a deep understanding of digital printing technology and its applications in flexible packaging, conveying product features, benefits, and value to potential customers.Engage with flexible packaging converters to assess their production needs and present solutions that align with their business objectives.Identify potential clients, nurture leads, and drive revenue growth.Develop and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and overall business strategy.Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, plant managers, and production teams within flexible packaging converters.Utilize industry-specific knowledge to craft competitive sales strategies that position digital printing technology as a key differentiator.Lead complex sales negotiations, manages client objections, and ensures timely and successful deal closures.Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to stay ahead of market trends and identify new business opportunities.Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or commensurate work experience.5+ years of experience in capital equipment sales to the flexible packaging converter industry.Proven success in technical selling, solution-based sales, and managing complex sales cycles in high-value capital equipment.Knowledge & Skills
