Sales Analyst

Job Summary

The Senior Sales Planning/Forecasting Analyst II or III reports to the Global Sales Commission Manager to aid in developing a global commission plan, assist in setting sales annual target and producing and innovating monthly reporting to serve Sales.

Accountabilities/Key Result Areas

Monthly Reporting:

Prepare/Review key monthly reports to ensure timely and accurate reporting achieved with actionable analysis of results.

Sales Commission Plan:

Review with GSCM and Sales to enhance and drive performance through compensation

Enforce the Sales commission rules within the plan and manage exceptions

Annual Sales Performance Targets:

Lead the creation of annual Sales Performance billings targets across 100+ account managers operating in various markets, countries and selling numerous products

Drive ongoing improvements in self-serve reporting and visibility of performance reporting and calculations

 

Monthly Commissions Payments Review:

Host the monthly Commissions payments being made to Sales and be able to dissect these payments and have visibility of actual underlying performance.

Comfortable looking at multiple commissions schemes with different drivers and aims.

Use forecast to predict EOY performance and plan for cost controls

Communication:

Regular interaction with the Commercial Finance Officer and the Commerical Finance Director

Regular interaction with GVP Sales; Sales Heads, and Sales Operations Team

Daily contact with the wider Finance team

Skills and experience needed:

Bachelor's degree holderMust have 3-5 years sound sales commissions and analytical experienceMust be comfortable communicating financial concepts and numbers to non-Financial customersThe ability to be able to communicate with the Sales and build a strong working relationship between Finance and Sales is essentialAdvanced Knowledge in Excel and  Tableau/Oracle-based visualisation toolsContinuous improvement mindset embracing process change and use of automation tools as practicable.
