Sales Analyst

As the Sales Analyst for the Target Coffee Systems team, you will work closely with the National Account Executive (NAE), Director of Sales and cross-functional team members to grow and manage this critical account. You will support sales efforts across a range of responsibilities, including point-of-sale and inventory analysis, ad hoc analysis, new item set up, new item performance tracking, and trade event management. You will also develop an in-depth knowledge of channel-specific selling, trade promotion, financial planning activities, and sales/inventory forecasting to deliver key insights and help the team make informed business decisions.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a keen interest in learning about the business, the ability to manage across numerous areas of responsibility, and the ability to cultivate strong working relationships.

This role will be based in our Minneapolis, Minnesota office and will have a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office and 2 days work from home)

Primary Responsibilities

Provide key analysis of sales and inventory data to drive insights and strategic recommendationsHelp manage a collaborative sales and inventory forecast that ties to both customer and internal goalsOwn the item set up and performance tracking for new product launches in your categoryAssist with the management and tracking of promotional events & the promotional calendarAssist with trade spend and customer contract management Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience1-2 years of relevant work experienceHighly proficient in using MS Office products such as PowerPoint Word and Microsoft ExcelStrong track record of delivering/exceeding results in a professional settingExceptional attention to detail and data accuracyDemonstrated leadership skills, exhibiting a high degree of drive and energy and the ability to consistently produce results Company Overview
