Sales Analyst

The Sales Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to the sales team to ensure the effective delivery of services and solutions to DoD clients. This position is focused on optimizing sales operations, managing program data, and driving strategic initiatives that align with Red River’s mission to deliver value and innovation to our government customers.

Primary Position Tasks:

Duties:

Collaborate with the DoD sales team and engineering resources to support program management activities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Red River’s objectives.Collect, analyze, and interpret sales and program data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and recommend actionable insights to improve sales performance.Assist in preparing and reviewing proposals, including developing cost estimates, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with DoD requirements.Identify inefficiencies in sales operations and recommend process improvements to enhance team productivity and customer satisfaction.Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track sales metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and program outcomes.Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to understand customer needs and ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions.Ensure adherence to DoD procurement regulations, Red River’s compliance protocols, and industry best practices.Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors, OEM partners, and government agencies.Support training initiatives to enhance the sales team’s understanding of Red River’s offerings, DoD-specific requirements, and emerging technologies.

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

3+ years of experience in a program analyst, sales operations, or related role within a government contracting or DoD environment.Strong understanding of DoD procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) is a plus.

Creative individual with the ability to design innovative solutions.Goal-oriented with high standards for quality and performance.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.Ability and discipline to work and succeed in a fast-paced and organizationally complex environment, to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology, and to lead and manage small projects.Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (Visio, PowerPoint, etc.).
