The Auction Sales Analyst is responsible for driving increased profitability and positive EVA through the auction sales channel. The incumbent will create, and lead vehicle disposal efforts aimed at achieving maximized revenue, positive EVA, minimized cost and turnaround time.

 Wage: $50,000.00/yr

Analyze historical remarketing data as well as current and future trends to develop comprehensive remarketing plans. Use industry benchmarking to evaluate internal performance and set future objectives. Use current sales data to make sales decisions with the goal of limiting times run and reducing days to sale. Evaluate current practices of vehicle disposal methods and make recommendations to the Vice President in line with the overall organization strategy. Strive for continual improvement in revenue generation, cost reduction and positive EVA. Develop pricing processes for all disposal channels to maximize revenue generation and minimize holding cost. Maintain and build relationships with current partnerships in the industry. Seek additional industry partners that would deliver results consistent with the division remarketing strategy. Measure performance through product scorecard/dashboard for key performance metrics such as vehicles sold, revenue generation, EVA, turnaround time and customer satisfaction. Responsible for all aspects of auction processes and other channel development. Drive process excellence in the vehicle remarketing area to ensure a consistent approach with division initiatives that delivers desirable results. Constantly champion productivity improvements via employee involvement using Lean/Six Sigma techniques. Responsible for building, managing, and developing talent effectively to support a performance culture within the region.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in a highly analytical field or equivalent experience Proficient in Excel, Access and PowerPoint Proven track record of researching and analyzing complex issues Leader, motivator, self-starter, analytical, independent thinker Excellent interpersonal skills Experience creating reports, graphs and tables

Educational Background: 

 

 Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Economics, Math, Business preferred) 2+ years reporting and analytics experience Experience creating dashboards & new tools to automate manual processes
