Achievement of Forex & structured business targets
Drive portfolio performance for the attainment for both turnover and revenue targets.Originate new business through calls, cold calls and re-activate dormant relationships to grow the client base and revenue for the portfolio.Plan strategic objectives for the portfolio namely acquisition client names and client retention strategy.Pricing clients and managing individual client pricing strategySet the strategic direction for the portfolio and mitigate and manage risks identified.Update and manage ongoing risk portfolio and reports i.e., non-settled trades/past due report, daily market report, daily Pnl.Adherence to all Group, country and regulatory policies.Conduct a thorough analysis of client needs and develop bespoke proposals, including risk management solutions.Offer clients solutions that will help manage currency, interest and commodity risk.Analyse daily market activity to understand short, medium and long-term trends and proactively engage with clients on their specific needs.Create efficiencies for clients and ensure seamless end-to-end process for clients.Proactively manage credit facilities to ensure adequate limits are in place.Ensuring a superior client experience through regular client engagement, initiating automation of processes and end-to end portfolio management.Analyse daily happenings in the market to understand short, medium and long-term trends and to be able to anticipate and engage with clients on their specific needs.Provide daily commentary on market happenings, including for example for thought leadership pieces.Provide feedback to Desk Head on client volumes and activity.Customer & Stakeholder relationship management
Build solid relationship with clients that create opportunities for long term partnerships.Understand needs of each client and offer solutions that create value for clients.Reinforce client relationships through regular engagement (calls, visits & entertainment), timely response to requests and value adding solutions.Conduct quarterly wallet share reviews.Drive digital migration to create value for clients through automation and moving clients from manual to online platforms.Ensure alignment with broader FNB & RMB client strategy.Leverage on cross sell opportunities for clients in portfolio to deepen holistic relationship with bank/groupAct speedily to resolve problems, queries and complaints.Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences.Build and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders, displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue, listen, advise, influence and negotiate to achieve win-win outcomes.Initiate client scoping sessions in conjunction with the relationship teams, road shows and monthly client visits to gain client insights.Initiate brainstorming sessions in conjunction with the relationship teams to identify opportunities across the group and manage action items thereof.Manage escalated unresolved client issues.Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation.Provide input into the development of the departmental strategy and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy.Qualifications and experience required for this role are as follows:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Admin, Economics, Accounting or related fields.ACI Dealing Certificate5 years working experience in financial markets.Sound experience in strategy development and executionSkills & Competencies
