We are currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Associate who will be responsible for providing bid generation support, managing, maintaining sales funnel (forecasting), and facilitating communication with prospective customers. In this role, you will be responsible for: + Cultivate and progress multiple early stage 1 and stage 2 hardware sales opportunities and assist in keeping customers engaged with Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. + Plan and coordinate daily activity to increase number of touch points with early stage funnel customers from assigned list. + Achieve prescribed daily call activity to meet targets of 20 calls per day and 8 engagements per day. + Maintain accuracy of customer records in assigned CRM. + Build rapport with prospects and customers to generate new and retain existing business. The required qualifications for the job include: + Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Science discipline. Life Sciences a plus. + Experience with personal computer, e-mail, and Microsoft Office Programs. + Proven understanding of tactical sales skills and progressing customers through the buying cycle. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Relevant experience in a science related industry. + Proven inside sales experience.
