General Description:
Under the direction of the Country Manager, the Candidate will have Product Management responsibilities, as well as some Commercial Operations ownership in specific areas based on business need and launch evolution.
The Candidate will play a key role in ensuring patient access to BeiGene products by developing and executing marketing strategies for PT, working closely with the local teams, as well as Commercial teams across Europe and other regions.
The Associate Director is able to translate the international/European strategy into operational tactics and assets (marketing, promotional and disease awareness/education initiatives) to support the markets to achieve their targets.
The Candidate contributes to developing and implementing the go-to-market strategy and is responsible for achieving defined commercial targets being supported by defined resources and investment budgets.
Essential Functions of the job:
Drive the development of the Zanubrutinib (Brukinsa®) marketing strategy, including omnichannel marketing activitiesContribute to cross-functional creation of national brand plans, and provide input on marketing tactics at a national level in alignment with international brand planPartner with local teams in the development and execution of marketing pre-launch and launch activitiesWork with agencies, Sales teams and external stakeholders to design and develop customer-centric promotional tools/materials or carry out local adaptations for asset from other countries, owning the development process from beginning to endIdentify agencies/vendors/technologies/tools that can benefit the execution of tacticsParticipate and support local teams in preparing BeiGene presence at national and international congresses, scientific meetings, symposia and workshopsIn close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Market Access, Medical, Commercial Operations and Business Analytics etc.) generate relevant Market Insights (Market Research, Commercial Ad-boards etc.) that help develop targeted tactics and show impact of implemented toolsContribute to Commercial Operations activities such as (by not limited to) launch readiness tracking, Business Review preparation, Customer Relationship Management system implementation and roll-outPlan and run regular trainings and updates for Key Account Managers (KAMs), partnering with Medical Affairs and Learning & DevelopmentOwn and manage the Marketing budget; own project management (contracts, invoicing, communication) for commercial activities and projects together with admin supportEnsure regular tracking and clear, meaningful reporting of relevant KPIs and overall performance of key BeiGene initiatives, as well as market changes/competitor activities which are relevant to strategy implementation and developmentApply a continuous improvement mindset to ensure solutions and improvements are rapidly identified to optimize launch and improve patient accessDrive business decisions whereby patient care is at the center of the business conductOperate in line with BeiGene’s Code of Conduct and relevant policies for commercial and promotional activities to maintain the highest standards of patients focused ethical conductQualifications:
7+ years of professional experience in the healthcare sector with 5+ years' commercial marketing experience in pharmaceutical or biotech. Launch experience in Marketing, Product Management, Sales teams strongly preferred. Previous experience and knowledge of hemato-oncology and the field of lymphomas are an assetExperience in SP & PT Markets is an assetDemonstrated success in a small but fast growing, entrepreneurial commercial environmentSelf-driven, highly motivated, solution-oriented and a positive attitudeExceptional communication and thought leadershipDemonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and to develop and maintain strong partnerships working in cross-functional teamTurns creative ideas into original solutions. Travel: Business travel is required for regular internal and external business meetings (varies from 20-40% of time)
