Sales and Marketing - Corporate Rates - Vice President or Executive Director

We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to drive new growth opportunities and contribute to our successful team. 

Job summary: 

As a Vice President or Executive Director in our Corporate Rates Sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our corporate rates sales efforts, developing strategic relationships at a senior level with key clients, and driving revenue growth - with a specialised focus on the UK Utilities and Infrastructure sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of rates and inflation markets and products, as well as a proven track record in sales and client management.

Job responsibilities:

Be a key senior member of the Corporate Rates Sales team, setting strategic direction and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business objectives Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client base and increasing market share Collaborate with internal teams, including Trading, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Operations to deliver seamless and efficient service to clients Monitor market trends and developments, providing clients with insights and advice on risk management strategies Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all sales activities  Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging professional growth

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

You have Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) You demonstrate extensive experience in Corporate Rates Sales or a related financial services role, with a proven track record of success You have strong knowledge of rates and inflation markets, products, and risk management strategies You have strong knowledge of the UK Utility sector and regulatory environment You demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills You demonstrate leadership ability, with experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams You are strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions You have ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively 

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
