The Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager / Supply Chain Manager plays a crucial role ensuring seamless alignment between Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders to drive the company’s objectives forward. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Operations Planning, the Manager of S&OP will be responsible for overseeing the S&OP process, leading internal cultural changes, and developing tools to continuously improve the results of our S&OP program.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Spearhead the internal S&OP process and cultural transformation, seamlessly connecting Divisional S&OP Directors and teams, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to an efficient and effective S&OP process, and delivering decision-making aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. Drive the creation of comprehensive S&OP minutes and working documents that effectively communicate key conclusions to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and accountability for subsequent actions. Provide strong leadership to a team of 1-2 Sales & Operations Planning Analysts, cultivating their expertise in S&OP leadership, business acumen, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving skills across various business scenarios. Develop and maintain comprehensive long-term modeling and scenario plans to anticipate capacity impacts, including network optimization, freight management, outsourcing strategies, asset and plant efficiency and optimization. Conduct rigorous what-if analysis to generate alternative scenarios for demand and supply, enabling proactive risk mitigation strategies, enabling revenue growth, and fostering an agile and resilient S&OP framework. Lead innovation and develop new tools and capabilities to drive continuous improvement within the company’s S&OP program, leveraging technology and industry best practices. Establish and monitor key metrics for the S&OP team--Targeted service levels (On Time in Full customer delivery), plan savings thru optimization projects, and integration targets.  Regularly reporting insights to the S&OP process owners, executives, and the team, while proactively identifying areas for improvement and corrective action. Capture and articulate business requirements, defining KPIs for analytical projects, and validating data pipelines to drive functional reporting to include demand and supply waterfalls, inventory reconciliation, and oversight of the Americas Conveting Fiber Balance. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Finance, Production, Procurement, Sales, and Logistics to ensure alignment of financial goals, production capabilities, material availability, and distribution strategies within the S&OP process. Develop run strategy scenarios for converting business and align with S&OP team on financial impact and execution of those scenarios.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in Sales & Operations Planning, supply chain management, or related fields. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and develop a team. Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, Kinaxis Rapid Response, and data visualization tools. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Certification in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred

 

 

Pay Range:   $102,270.00 - $136,395.00
