Responsibilities:
Promptly respond to customer inquiries, process inside orders, and handle order confirmations.
Create and process all sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Update the Production Board and support the Sales team in delivering on customer commitments.
Assist with customer returns, vendor-managed inventory, and proactive customer engagement.
Prepare spec sheets, develop cut sheets for lumber, and ensure inventory availability.
Perform order entry, credit processing, and new customer account setup.
Provide customer service at the lobby window, including directing truck drivers and assisting with inside sales.
Maintain spreadsheets for forklift/truck maintenance, IFTA data, and propane usage.
Support HR with payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as a backup.
Perform daily filing, mail distribution, and office cleanliness tasks.
Participate in safety inspections and committee initiatives.
Distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplies twice daily.
Working hours: 6:45 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar systems.
Clear handwriting and strong attention to detail.
Friendly, customer-focused attitude.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma (required).
Experience: 2+ years in customer service, office work, order processing, and sales.
3+ years of experience in Customer Service and AP/AR preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Exceptional written, oral communication, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong team player with accountability for meeting goals.
