The Chemours Brazil office located in Alphaville, Barueri-SP is seeking a Sales and Technical Consultant Latin America Sales to join our Titanium Technologies Business Unit.  Ti-Pure™ titanium dioxide (TiO₂) from Chemours strives to make the world brighter, more durable, and efficient by tackling some of society’s greatest challenges through TiO₂ innovation and reliability. For nearly a century, we have produced and delivered high-quality TiO₂ for customers around the globe in coatings, plastics, and laminates applications. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the commercial function. This position will report to Latin America South Business Manager based in Brazil.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Develop and maintain account plans for all significant customers. Use these plans to build partnering relationships with key decision makers.Provide technical support to customers, responding to queries and technical issues, and manage technical projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines and objectives.Stay up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies relevant to the segments we serve, also participating in our internal technology & sustainability community.Identify, map, engage and maintain frequent contact (through face-to-face contact), telephone and virtual meetings) with key individuals who most directly influence account penetration.Support our strategic relationship with distributors, providing technical training to their team.Work cross-functionally within Chemours to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through efficient internal coordination and communication.Effectively demonstrate value to customers, including technical aspects and sustainability goals, reaching mutually beneficial agreements and influence important outcomes that are aligned with business direction and needs.Understand business different sales channels, negotiation dynamics in different countries and explore alternatives that demonstrate value to our customers and prospects.Develop and maintain relationships at new and existing accounts to understand their markets and the competitive environment, as well as to identify potential opportunities for new business and additional value.Monitor market conditions that may affect business results, keeping management involved to support decision making process, including dynamic planning.Work effectively with colleagues at all levels and different cultures in the organization to accomplish account objectives while creating/maintaining a positive work environment.

The following is required for this role:

Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar (e.g. Industrial Engineering, bachelor’s degree in chemistry).3+ years of sales B2B, account management and/or business development experience, preferably in the Chemical industry.Fluent level to speak and write in Portuguese and English, Spanish is also desired.Fluency in MSOffice (MS Word, MS Teams, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc.) and ability to use systems to support sales processes, such as SFDC and OMP.Knowledge of methodologies such as experimental design, statistical analysis and project management.Understanding of paint and plastics manufacturing technology (desired, but not required).Self-motivation, with strong organizational skills to independently complete tasks, comply with required controls, and to also work well in a team environment.Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with strong skills to manage difficult conversations. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and identify incremental business opportunities.Excellent communication, interpersonal, listening, presentation and writing skills.Position is remote and ideally candidate needs to be in the Great São Paulo area.Availability to travel domestic and international of around 40% of the time.

The following is preferred for this role:

Proven track record of success in meeting and/or exceeding growth targets.Technical background of raw-material application.
