We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Sales Application Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Hillsborough, NJ surrounding area.
Responsibilities:Perform all functions with regard to equipment quotation including application design, shop fabrication, & field installation labor.Manages all requests for quotation assigned and develops/implements a plan for quotation.Involves all aspects of quotation generation:Application Engineering.Vendor proposals.Light Drafting when required.Costing.Technical quotation to the customer.Promotes a collaborative working environment that enables individuals to work closely with other Engineered Estimators in the office.Responsible for initial quotations all the way through closing the sale.Work closely with the project management team for a successful project from start to finish.
Basic Hiring Criteria:Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Mechanical, Structural, or Electrical Engineering; education can be substituted by professional experience in Engineering or Application Engineering.
Desired Qualifications:Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Great time management skills with the ability to manage multiple quotations.Knowledge of product pricing, cost accounting, and general sales.Strong Mechanical and Structural skills.AutoCAD / SolidWorks Experience (2D mandatory).Previous Material Handling Equipment, Industrial products, or electric motor and controls sales/quoting experience is a plus.
