As Sales Applications Chemist, this role will combine excellent scientific skills with strong commercial business acumen, and the desire to contribute to the customers’ success by helping them choose the best system solution from Waters/TA product portfolio to address the customers’ analytical challenges. The Sales Applications Chemist will do sample analysis across multiple types of applications (not limited to), Polymer, Advanced material, Electronics,/semiconductor, Food & Environment, Pharmaceutical/Cosmetics, Life Sciences with a focus on thermal analysis, rheometer, microcalorimetry, TPP and ESG instrumentation.
Responsibilities Work closely with Field Sales operations and distributors to provide credible and impartial consultancy and technical sponsor in a fast paced pre- and post-sales environment.Perform all product lines of instrument demonstrations and provide expert advice to customers during the sales process, focusing on how TA system solutions will address and benefit the customer’s needs.Ensure that the equipment, analysis and customer demonstrations are properly prepared, in order to guarantee the highest level of customer experience in a timely manner.Perform system and application training as well as technical sponsor to customers after the product has been installed.Conduct internal solutions training to Field Sales OperationsAggressive, proactively self-learning attitude and good communication skill internally and externally. Ability to travel by car or plane up to 80%. Qualifications
Education:
Masters Degree, or PhD in scientific area such as Chemical engineering, materials science, polymer, Chemistry and engineering.Experience:
Experience with DSC, TGA, SDT, TMAļ¼DMA or rheometers will be a plusExperience in application job at least 3 years.Skills:
