As a member of the Northern Europe sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales success in UK & Ireland by managing the UK & Ireland demolab team that delivers compelling demonstrations that showcase the company’s LC and MS product portfolio.  We are seeking an individual who is passionate about sales, technology and leading a team to success.

Your main responsibilities consist of leading and managing a team of Sales Application Chemists to achieve sales targets and objectives in UK & Ireland. You will foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, providing guidance, coaching and mentorship to team membersYou will design and implement an effective sales demonstration strategy to showcase our leading technologies to new and existing customers, continuously analysing and improving demonstration processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiencyYou will work closely with sales teams to create a positive and memorable customer experience that positively drives a purchasing decision, in alignment with our business strategyYou will perform demonstrations alongside the management of the demo lab team

 

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee daily operations of the UK & Ireland demo labs, ensuring a well-maintained, fully functional environmentOversee instrument/solution positioning through close communication with Sales ManagersProvide internal training programs to continuously enhance team members product knowledge, presentation skills, report writing and commercial understandingCollaborate with technical support teams to address issues and challenges relating to demo equipmentEffectively manage inventory and supplies to support the smooth operation of the laboratoriesGather customer feedback to improve future demonstrations and processesManage budget allocation for demo lab ensuring cost effective operations without compromising qualityEnsure laboratories operates in compliance with industry regulations and standardsImplement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment for both team members and customersGenerate regular reports on the performance of the demo laboratory, providing insights and recommendations for improvementMaintain accurate records relating to demonstrations, logging all customer interactions in Compass Qualifications

The successful candidate is likely to have the following additional skills:

Minimum Batchelors degree in analytical science or related subjectExtensive scientific and technical understanding and practical experience in Pharma, Materials Science and Food & Environmental LC and MS applicationsCustomer success-orientedStrong influencing skills, proven ability to work across organisational boundariesStrong organisational, planning and time management skillsAdaptable and resilient; able to work in high demanding and fast-changing environmentSpoken and written fluency in English Willingness to travel at least 30% of his/her timeThe candidate must hold a current driving license Company Description
