Job Summary
We are looking for a full time Sales Support colleague located in Milano, Italy to provide commercial support to our Sales Team in charge of MED Territory (Italy, Greece, Malta and Cyprus) covering the customer base in the Food Biosciences team categories, which incorporates the IFF’s portfolio of Cultures and Enzymes.This role requires collaboration with various departments including commercial, logistic, customer service, financial, quality control etc. to ensure seamless customer experience.
Your main daily tasks and key responsibilities will include:
Be the first point of contact in the office for customers, agents, distributors for questions related to commercial matters and day to day topic connected to existing business.Develop and maintain trustful relationships with customers.Providing support for Sales Managers on day-to day topics and be Back-up for the Account/Sales Managers responsible for the specific Sub-Regions.Working very closely with customer service and logistic teams.Correct, timely and accurate usage and maintenance of IFF local systems, Sales Force system and SAP systems according to the IFF business rules (e.g. pricing, customer master data, cases etc.)Ensuring data integrity.Maintaining pricing systems.Ordering and progress tracking of product samples and required documentation requests from customers.Organizing and tracking sample shipments from customers to IFF lab locations.Coordinate all communications between the customer, agent, distributor and IFF departments and ensure timely reply to questions and follow-up on (internal) actions.Liaise with other departments on project progress to ensure that the Account / Sales Manager and the customer/agent/distributor are kept fully up to date.Support in organization of seminars, events, workshops, customer visits in line with Commercial manager requests.Our Food Biosciences SVP being based in Milano office, occasional & specific support tasks might have to be provided to her.Requirements:
Prior experience within an international company in customer service, sales support or other related position is an advantageSome experience with the use of SAP, Navision and other systems in a customer service and logistics environment will be welcomed.Excellent interpersonal skills and solutions oriented with the ability to interact and coordinate activities with internal support team and customers.Proactive and results driven, coupled with a customer service focused mindset.Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to learn quickly and work with project- related IT systems.Organized, resilient and able to meet deadlines without compromising consistency in the process.Ability to work independently and as a team.Respect for sensitive/confidential information.Language : Italian, English are mandatoryLanguage : Greek would be a plusLocation : IFF Milano office / onsiteEducation : Bachelor DegreeWe are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
