Description We are seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Somerset, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for providing customer support, managing orders, and assisting the sales team with various operations. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity Responsibilities: • Provide proactive customer support to enhance customer satisfaction levels • Assist the sales team in creating quotes for large accounts and major agreements • Handle any pricing discrepancies to ensure consistent pricing and manage forecasts • Support sales team with Sales Agreements preparation and maintain updates • Collaborate cross-departmentally to improve and maintain efficient workflows • Assist in gathering and ensuring customer forecasts are entered into the ERP System accurately • Provide support to the team for large accounts and sales agreements • Mentor and train other Sales Assistants and assist in event planning organization • Research the inventory, manage virtual returns and estimate shipping costs • Monitor order and shipment issues and provide solutions to enhance customer experiences Requirements + 3+ years of experience in sales or related roles + Strong skills in budgeting and forecasting to support sales teams + Experience with order entry, account management, and customer support + Ability to create accurate customer quotes and align with sales operations + Proficient in ERP systems, especially SAP + Experience with shipments and tracking + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office + Proven ability to manage sales support tasks effectively + Excellent customer service and account management skills TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
