Job Description

Responsibilities

Conduct business development-related tasks including identifying fund companies and individuals as relevant potential customers, as well as cold prospect outreachHelp planning and implementing client events and meetingsHelp tracking relevant industry headlines and news in the alternative investment community to help identity new business opportunitiesRegular invoice and payment tracking, handling billing issues with clients and internal finance teamRunning, collating and de-duplicating contact lists from internal CRM system & third-party directory databasesMaintaining most updated client records in internal CRM systemCollections – liaising with internal accounts receivables team and clients on open/overdue invoicesSending service extension reminders and usage updates to clientsHelp preparing product decks, proposals and contracts utilizing internal systemsLiaise with both clients and internal legal team to facilitate during the contract drafting processTranslate client-facing materials from English to simplified ChineseInteracting with contacts and information of sensitive, complex, and sometimes confidential nature both inside and outside of the company, requiring exceptional judgment and discretion

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree or equivalent qualification requiredMinimum 3 years of strong business administration, marketing coordination and research experience; sales experience in financial sector preferredFamiliar with up-to-date prospecting and research tools and techniquesBasic understanding on social selling techniques, e.g. ability to demonstrate effective communications on LinkedIn and WeChatAbility to multi-task, prioritize, remain organized while achieving tight deadlinesExcellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)Good levels of responsiveness and customer awarenessGood personal organization and discipline with good follow throughKnowledge of general office practice and business etiquetteExperience in a professional sales environment preferredGood judgment, able to handle confidential informationIT and internet savvyProfessional competency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
