Sales Associate Manager (Out of Home)

Barilla Turkey seeks to recruit a Sales Associate Manager-OOH (Out-of-Home) – as a part of our Traditional Trade channel, based in İstanbul. The individual will hierarchically report to Sales Channel Manager-Traditional Trade. Job Descriptions:
+ Achieving the monthly business targets of the region responsible within the defined budget.
+ Providing necessary guidance to sales specialists under their responsibility to achieve sales targets in the designated regions (tracking distributor and customer stock levels, shelf share, product variety control, etc.), measuring their performance, and taking necessary actions based on the results.
+ Ensuring collaboration and coordination between distributors, customers, and Barilla, while guiding sales specialists accordingly.
+ Ensuring that monthly sales volume forecasts are made at an optimal level with the team.
+ Obtaining market information related to the tourism season from various institutions (TÜİK, Ministry of Tourism, TÜRSAB, etc.) and informing the Channel Manager, relevant departments, and the company about possible developments while making recommendations.
+ Planning customer/distributor conditions in line with company priorities, expectations, and the win-win principle, optimizing the cost of existing agreements to increase profitability.
+ Developing solutions (organizational/structural) to improve the scope and performance of the distributor channel in the responsible region.
+ Regularly gathering information on market developments, threats and opportunities, competitor activities, promotions, and price changes, and reporting them to the Channel Manager.
+ Collaborating with commercial departments to propose regional marketing activities and promotions and coordinating the implementation of approved activities and promotions by the sales team.
+ Ensuring the organization of demo applications, training, and various marketing activities to be conducted by Barilla at OOH distributors/customers in collaboration with Trade Marketing and relevant departments.
+ Identifying potential locations for menu sponsorship, initiating communication, guiding the team accordingly, and ensuring agreements are made within company principles in collaboration with Trade Marketing and relevant departments.
+ Ensuring that the team regularly (monthly) and accurately conducts budget and invoice reconciliations between distributors, retailers, and Barilla.
+ Leading and coaching the team, communicating their training needs to the company, and managing their career expectations.
+ Implementing Barilla’s diversity and inclusion principles in business practices and guiding the team accordingly.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 5+ years of experience in the out-of-home consumption sector
+ Minimum 2 years of team management experience
+ Deep knowledge of the out-of-home consumption channel
+ Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English and Turkish
+ Experienced in customer and distributor management
+ Excellent communication skills to clearly convey business and market information and collaborate with various stakeholders
+ Willing and being able to travel
