Description:

The Sales AVP is responsible for the sale of Client’s Salesforce.com Offerings and solutions to clients in the Enterprise space in the NA East Coast region.

This role involves sales to the prospects and management and strengthening of relationships with the Salesforce.com AE’s & RVP’s that own responsibility for the set of accounts and/or assigned verticals. 

Responsibilities: 

Generating new leads directly with prospects
Hunting/Account Mining/ Expanding Business in the NA East Coast region
Pursue all leads provided by partner organizations in the assigned territory
Prospecting in the territory to identify additional leads outside those provided by the partner organizations
Qualification of leads in territory
Achieve sales goals set by executive management
Networking with technology groups, user groups, and partner contacts in the area
Educate partner sales reps on the benefits of working with Client
Identify the need for engagement of supporting Client resources in accounts to secure the win
Generate customer proposals
Generate and deliver custom presentations, based on company standards, to customers and partner contacts
Participate on project kickoff meetings
Forge strong links with Delivery organization to ensure all projects are delivered with the correct level of certification and experience
Ability to expand the Sales Team if necessary, with Aggressive and Successful Sales Personnel
Carries a defined Quarterly Quota
Reports to the Global SFDC Sales SVP 

Desired Skills and Experience

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in selling of technology services, preferably SFDC sales track record is mandatory, and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working independently and in a team environment, able to gauge project size and complexity based on similar engagements, and able to handle multiple priorities.

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent preferred
12+ years of relevant experience in technology sales (preferably technology service sales) with at least last 3 years in selling salesforce.com services and solutions
Should have worked in Global Service Delivery Model with Tier-1 Service Companies
Strong relationship with Salesforce AE’s & RVP’s
Awareness of other Force.com solutions
Should have Selling Experience in primarily East Coast and Central Regions
Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales quota in technology product or service industry
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to quickly adapt to and understand the business model and common challenges of a variety of customer industries and company size
Proven solution and service selling to large enterprise accounts
Experience gathering and documenting client solution needs
Experience navigating companies of varying sizes to reach decision makers, including C-level
