Bring your big ideas knowing you are safe to be who you are and speak up with concerns or questions and put your diverse talents and perspectives to use. **The Opportunity** As the **Sales/Business Development Executive of Water/Wastewater Utilities** , you will have the opportunity to coordinate internal and external sales of solutions in a structured, collaborative way with Solution, Market, Regional and other Sales Leaders. **The Team** Black & Veatch’s **Strategic Advisory & Lifecycle Resiliency Services** are an integrated portfolio of strategic consulting and operation resiliency services that apply across the client’s entire investment-to-operations lifecycle commitments. Included are Strategic Advisory, Industrial Cybersecurity, and Operating Assets. **Key Responsibilities** + Support the CAMs on client engagement activities from opportunity creation to business capture + Work with Solution Growth Lead on internal sales with CAMs for new opportunities + Hand off qualified opportunities to Solution Leads for Proposal development + Engage in Account management activities to support Infrastructure Optimization opportunities (Build & maintain client relationships; develop and follow sector-led key account plans, position for qualified opportunities) + Build intimate understanding of solutions to support top of the funnel growth through prospective selling + Generate and qualify business leads for IO opportunities + Partner with account management teams to develop client strategies (segmentation, prioritization, identify key accounts, sales/GTM strategy) + Co-develop marketing strategy in collaboration with Enterprise Evolution (thought leadership, industry exp, etc.) + Be accountable for client satisfaction in collaboration with CAMs, PD’s and PM’s + Maintain deep understanding of current and evolving Solution offerings (Solutions understanding) + For growth Solution offerings, drive solution sales across appropriate markets + Partner with Enterprise Innovation to ensure investment in new/leading innovative solutions are targeted at our clients needs/planned growth areas + Build relationships with regional leaders and segment leaders, establishing a meeting cadence to understand Regional/Subregional strategy in response to changing market/client needs + Work with CAMs, Client Segment Leaders, and Enterprise Evolution on Strategic account management, clarity on playbook and client zippering to avoid redundancy and friction with CAMS & Client Segment Leads **Preferred Qualifications** + Business development of 10+ years preferred + Proven track record of business development results within market + Master’s degree preferred. + Has successfully managed multiple engagements simultaneously.
