About the role
The Sales Development Representative will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Teams to identify target prospects and customers through Salesforce and other marketing efforts.
The primary role of the sales development representative is to research, call and create qualified sales opportunities that result in closed business. The candidate must be analytical, metrics driven, and able to identify business challenges and opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
Work closely and collaboratively with Sales Managers to develop and implement appropriate prospect strategies and plans
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Outbound prospecting and qualifications for new leads
Create strategic emails to target prospect accounts
Conduct on-going research to identify new leads, obtain contact information
Educate prospects on the TeamMate product and services
Record and track all activity in Salesforce to provide background and next steps for the Sales and Marketing Teams to ensure alignment of teams as well as effective follow up with prospects
Recommend process enhancements for more targeted marketing efforts, accelerate sales cycle and to expand reach into target markets
About you:
Speaks fluent French and English with strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience of B2B prospecting in software sales with a history of exceeding targets
The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
Understanding of sales processes and strong sales acumen
Strong communication skills via phone and email
A positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity
Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a focus on quality of opportunities.
Strong phone prospecting skills, fast paced and can demonstrate high call volumes
Salesforce.com experience preferred
SaaS experience will be advantageous
