Job Summary
Synopsys is seeking a Sales Commission Manager to join our Sales Compensation team. We work in a fast paced, dynamic environment supporting Sales teams worldwide. This position reports to the Director of Sales Compensation and will manage 3-5 direct reports. In this role you would be performing activities related to the development, implementation, communication, and administration of Sales Compensation related quotas, plans, and policies. Successful managers at Synopsys are self-starters, clear communicators, natural problem solvers, with a focus on process improvement.
Key job responsibilities
-Lead the development and oversight of key project plans to increase automation, consistency, accuracy, and integrity of compensation systems and operations.
-Build partnerships and solicit feedback from internal business partners to define and develop successful, scalable processes, and practices.
-Coach, mentor, and provide leadership development to team members.
-Analyze sales performance results to assess, recommend, and manage compensation outcomes.
-Maintain a high level of customer service including timely research and response to inquiries on compensation related issues.
-Oversee the monthly audit activities and processes to ensure compliance with our Sales Commission and Bonus policy.
Position Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is strongly preferred.Advanced Excel skills with an emphasis on modeling.High attention to detail and accuracy.At least 8 years’ experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, Finance, or other highly detail-oriented quantitative position.At least 5 years system experience in SAP, Anaplan, Callidus, SFDC, and/or other SPM solution.At least 3 years in supervisory type role or a Senior/lead role with emphasis on coaching and mentoring other team members, if no direct supervision experience.The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $106,000 - $160,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
