What You'll Do As a Sales Compensation Administrative Representative on our Retirement Onboarding and Compensation Teams, you’ll provide a wide variety of services to advisors, sales offices, business partners, and department personnel. You'll partner with financial professionals and firms, and advocate for the interest of advisors within Principal with a goal of maximizing producer loyalty to the company. Here are few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do: Work with advisors, field offices, and business partners to ensure compensation is paid appropriately. Adhere to state and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Who You Are College degree preferred or high school diploma with 4+ years of work experience Experience working in Salesforce is preferred. Ability to balance multiple priorities, willing to meet same day deadlines, and evaluate and improve processes. Exceptional customer services skills required via phone calls and emails. Ability to develop a broad understanding of insurance operations, products and concepts across all lines. Strong computer skills, aptitude, and proficiency at keyboarding. Potential to build positive relationships with diverse internal and external distribution channels, make quick judgements, and respond to difficult situations that requires tact and discretion. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills in a fast paced, changing environment with high accuracy and within established turnaround times. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $19.47 - $30.58 / hour Time Off Program Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Pension Eligible Yes Additional Information Location & Work Environment This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
