Sales Compensation Analyst
To be updated during Hire Brain call: **Sales Compensation Analyst role - Key Responsibilities:** **System Setup and continuous planning:** Compensation Letters release that outline commission structures, quotas, accelerators, and terms & conditions for new Fiscal Year. Collaborate with Compensation Data operations team to ensure proper integration and data flow between our Quota planning and Sales Compensation tools to configure and maintain hierarchy and alignments in both systems. Regularly update commission structures based on continuous planning process: Quota disputes, changes on accounts, partners, territories, products, and services alignments and release the corresponding revised compensation letters. **Case Management:** Serve as the first point of contact for any sales compensation-related inquiries from the sales team, HR, and finance. Address and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to commission payments, exception requests, or performance assessments and develop resolutions in a timely manner. **Payment Analysis and Performance Metrics:** Track and analyze commissions payment data to identify trends, including underperformers (low/no payment), high achievers, and overachievements (high commissions). Implement a system to categorize and flag discrepancies in performance-related payments, ensuring all data is up to date and accurate. **Sales Compensation advisor:** Work closely with the Incentives and Finance teams to reconcile any discrepancies and resolve data issues. Partner with Field operations and sales managers to conduct regular reviews and ensure compensation is aligned with expectations. Make recommendations on how to manage modifications to compensation plans and exceptions in alignment with Nutanix policies and sales compensation terms and conditions. **Competencies:** Basic understanding of sales compensation structures and terminology. Assist in maintaining and updating compensation program documentation, ensuring clarity on compensation structures. Help ensure compensation systems are up-to-date and functioning smoothly by providing support on system issues." Act as a point of contact for the sales team, answering questions and resolving issues related to compensation, commissions, and payouts. Proficient in compensation software, Google Sheets and Excel functions (E.G., pivot tables, v-lookups). Communicates and reinforces policies related to compensation and ensure governance, especially regarding compliance and ethical practices in compensation management." Help with basic commission calculations and verifying commission structures in alignment with sales quota targets. Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy. Works independently on basic tasks Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences. Engages with teammates and sales representatives effectively. Cross-functions Collaboration: Work closely with Field Operations, HR, Accounting team, and First and Second level managers to ensure alignment between compensation, sales targets, and overall business strategy.
