We are looking to grow our team of driven individuals to bring our uniquely powerful IT solutions to clients. This team is at the forefront of establishing and maintaining win/win relationships with blue ribbon clients throughout our region.
Your Experience
+ 3+ years sales experience in IT or related industry
+ Consultative knowledge of Cisco Systems and Managed IT Services offerings preferred
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
How You'll Grow
Within 1 month, you'll understand the GDS basics, including:
+ Complete Global Data Systems new hire training and onboarding program. You'll achieve an understanding of our products portfolio and how your role contributes to the success of our organization
+ Partner with the Director of Sales to define key success metrics for your role and how you will measure against them
+ Meet your support team members during 1:1 sessions to understand how to avoid common sales challenges and how each individual contributes to your success
Within 3 months, you'll start to hit your stride by:
+ Meeting with Sales Leadership to define your target industries and OTE compensation plan
+ Attending industry events to network with prospect stakeholders, gain industry insight and represent Global Data Systems
+ Embracing and using our sales process and enablement tools, maintaining accurate data in our CRM to drive efficiency
+ Prospect, qualify, and develop opportunities in existing and new accounts to identify profitable revenue sources
+ Within existing accounts (if assigned), identify and build relationships with key stakeholders and champions who can influence IT budget
Within 6 months, you'll be making a clear impact through:
+ Efficiently utilizing our sales enablement and support services to qualify and advance opportunities within your pipeline
+ Establishing strong cross-departmental relationships with Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Product teams
+ Stepping up and sharing best practices across the Sales & Customer Experience teams to help others grow from your experiences
+ Meeting agreed upon success metrics related to weekly activities and revenue targets
+ Becoming a social media expert to confidently speak to ever-changing IT trends and our Managed Services offerings that help our Customers realize their full potential and achieve their outcomes
Within 12 months, you'll make this role your own by:
+ Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly quota targets
+ Be recognized as a thought leader in your target industry
+ Obtaining and acting upon peer, customer, and leadership feedback to strengthen your sales approach
+ Capitalizing upon warm referrals from your industry connections and assigned accounts
What is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs. Other projects or tasks could be added at the discretion of your leadership.

+ Base salary $70,000-$100,000 plus commissions
