As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the hotel's sales and marketing efforts by assisting the sales team in various administrative and operational tasks. Your role will involve coordinating sales activities, managing client communications, and ensuring the smooth execution of sales-related processes
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales & Marketing
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries from potential clients by providing information about hotel. Ensure a high level of customer service by assisting the sales team with addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly. Provide support to sales team by preparing presentations, proposals and contracts Distribute group resumes, banquet event orders, daily change logs, and pick-up reports. Coordinate sales team meetings with clients Create room block and reservations for incoming groups Create reservations for individual business travel guests Create billing patterns for group room blocks and individual travel reservations Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure client satisfaction Receive and distribute leads to sales team Handle administrative tasks for department including filing, data entry, and office supply orders General office administration tasks and general sales departmentMINNIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) Moderate knowledge in programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Previous customer service experience Exceptional time management, critical thinking, emotional intelligence and organizational skills required. Hotel experience preferred Previous Lightspeed and CI/TY experience preferred
