Sales Analyst – Western Canada

We are looking for a Sales Analyst to join our regional customer team based in Calgary, AB.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the regional sales team. The Sales Analyst will work closely with the regional Sales teams to assist with the execution of administrative tasks in support of account management, business development and systems maintenance. The purpose of this role is to facilitate the teams’ activities to maximize their performance and the solid, long-lasting development of the regional customer teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Liaison between the regional customer team and the back office commercial team for any administrative questions and requestsLiaison between the regional customer team and the national Sales operations team to ensure proper execution of the customer commercial plan with the Field Sales teamWork with customer team to identify changing sales trendsTrack and update the internal commercial team on all key commercial initiatives (innovations, customer big bets, quarterly initiatives, etc.)Liaison and coordination of post promotional analysis with the RGM teamSupport in gathering all the information required for the customer team to prepare their monthly performance review with the regional Sales DirectorSupport in gathering all the information required for the customer team to prepare their customer one-year planSupport in gathering all the information required to support the customer team for their customer presentationsSupport the customer team to fill and ensure that all customer fact sheets are accurate and on timeUpdate and maintain the sales repository and other sales-related toolsSupport regional customer team maintenance by completing master data requestsManage customer portals by gathering information needed and update accordinglyAct as the resource person for the Sales team with respect to Master Data and ERPPrepare various sales and volume reports as needed by internal / external customersOwner of the regional weekly sales meeting in partnership with the regional Sales DirectorEnsure coordination of all regional customer events/trade shows

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

College or University degree in administration, management or sales; or 2 years of experience in a similar roleBilingual (English, French)

COMPETENCIES

Strong organizational, time management and planning skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and FrenchAbility to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyAdvanced knowledge and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT and SharePoint)
