Summary

CHS Sun Basin has an exciting opportunity as an Agronomy Sales Trainee in Quincy, Washington. This role will report to the Quincy, WA office each day.  You will work hand in hand with a seasoned Agronomist and Operations leader while learning the Agronomy and Operations functions of the business.

Responsibilities Assist Agronomy Sales Specialist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solvingLearn the features and benefits of all agronomy productsLearn to perform warehouse and agronomy plant operationsLearn and utilize sales technology solutionsLearn crop protection product mixing and operation of application equipmentMinimum Qualifications (required) Knowledge of Training and/or Learning and DevelopmentHigh School diploma or GEDAdditional Qualifications Willingness to work extended hours in peak seasonFarming or Agriculture knowledgeAgricultural or commodity sales experience Ability to work additional hours on nights and weekends Aptitude for technical salesBachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related fieldPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
