Overview Sales Coordinator The Sales Coordinator will be reporting directly and provide administrative assistance to Sr Sales Manager and Sales Manager. The coordinator will also be maintaining the group bookings by providing customer support. Responsibilities Exhibits conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. Demonstrates a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service. Answer all incoming calls for the main sales line. Assist the sales team in generating new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing information about hotel facilities, packages and room types. Ascertain all meetings and or group details for incoming inquiry calls. Forward leads and calls to the appropriate Sales / Catering Personnel. Prepare and send proposals, contracts, and quotes to clients. Ensure clients’ requests and preferences are understood and communicated to other departments. Generate Weekly Sales Reports. Sends out delegate list of room reservations to all incoming groups within one week of their arrival. Handles all amenity requests for VIP guests. Schedule and organize sales meetings, including client follow-ups and sales calls. Process Purchase Order Reservations and Documents. Conduct property site tours. Attend industry and client events such as dinners, trade shows, and receptions. Inspect all hotel rooms prior to VIP guest checking in and site tours. Distribute Group Resumes and Booking Recaps internally and prior to Resume Meetings. Send thank you letters and group evaluation of property and experience to all outgoing group contacts. Performs any other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in a sales, customer service, or hotel operations role preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and work collaboratively with multiple departments. Familiarity with hotel reservations systems and CRM tools. (LMS, Salesforce) A degree in hospitality management, business or marketing is advantageous but not required.
