Alliance Air Products is seeking a Sales Coordinator. This newly added role will support the Alliance Air Products (AAP) Sales and Applications group with daily activity within the sales process. This role will be responsible for compiling data for customers and sales reps, assisting with the bid process and working on customer proposals. The Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for activities associated with inside sales, sales support, customer service, communications with the customer/representative and administrative functions that support the AAP Sales & Applications team.  Come be a part of an exciting journey at Alliance Air Products, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!

Location: San Diego, in office with frequent day travel to our manufacturing facilities in Tijuana, Mexico.

What you will do: 

Assists with data entry and maintaining the integrity of the local office database including forecast reports, opportunity reports, opportunity re-assignments, maintenance. Works on the booking and release for fabrication process. Assists in managing change order proposals. Supports the management of customer proposals, PowerPoint presentations, letters, spreadsheets, issuance of Bid Bonds, Certificates of Insurance, Payment / Performance Bonds, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and order legal paperwork and forms to aid in finalization of contract award. Creates project files, completes daily, weekly, or monthly project related reporting. Manages the bid log and project scheduling within the Sales Applications team. Coordinates meetings, trade shows, events, etc. for sales teams. Manages the sales pipeline database and coordinates with sales representatives. Assists in managing the contract closeout process to ensure the timely closure of projects. Generates subcontracts and may issue payments to subcontractors or work with A/R invoices under guidance from the sales leadership team. Completes requests for information, transmittal letters, customer warm-up letters, project organizational charts, certified payroll, owner directed insurance, etc. Researches and reconciles contract mischarges. Creates communications on behalf of the Director of Sales & Marketing. Manages calendar and travel schedule, schedules/coordinates meetings. Works with project management team to ensure representatives/customers are communicated with in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications: 

High School diploma or GED.  3 years related work experience in a busy sales environment including administrative work experience. Experience with Microsoft Office software. Must have valid US passport. Work Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

4 Year / bachelor’s degree. Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software.

The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $31 - $47 per hour in San Diego, CA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
