Job Objective
Improve long-term earnings and profits by buildup of sustainable business relationships with original spare parts customers and ensure best possible customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilites
A. Sales strategy management and planning
1. Analyze developments within the market, the customer, the HELLA Business Divisions as well as series sales acquisitions and OES performance indicators.
2. Develop customer-specific goals based on division goals and the above-mentioned analyses in consultation with the supervisor.
3. Develop customer strategies to meet goals.
4. Develop and initiate measures in consultation with the supervisor and monitor strategy implementation and achievement of goals.
B. Customer Relationship Management
1. Guarantee best possible customer satisfaction by representing customer interests across divisions within the global HELLA network.
2. Represent the HELLA company to customers.
3. Develop and recommend procurement, logistic and warehouse concepts in consultation with the supervisor.
4. Assists in managing of customer escalations across relevant levels of hierarchy.
C. Frame Contract Management
1. Negotiate and implement frame contracts for prices, product life cycles, delivery conditions, payment terms, and scope of delivery with the aim of improving profits in consultation with the supervisor.
D. Quotation Management
1. Analysis of customer aftermarket needs and decide on quoting in consideration of sales targets and technical feasibility in consultation with the supervisor.
2. Recommending and negotiating replacement parts assortments with new projects as well as optimizing the portfolio in terms of life cycle management in consultation with the supervisor.
3. Setting prices with consideration of earnings targets and regional market demands in consultation with the supervisor.
4. Preparing and conducting customer negotiations in consultation with the supervisor.
5. Rationalizing and arguing sales prices using independently created cost detailing in consultation with the supervisor.
E. Maximizing Business Results
1. Identifying potentials through analysis of performance indicators and project data with consideration of division-, contact-, market and profit goals.
2. Setting mandatory and conditional action items for maximizing profit in consultation with the supervisor.
3. Infer effects of budgets and lead budget negotiations with customer in consultation with the supervisor.
4. Guarantee effectiveness of measures and achievement of goals in consultation with the supervisor.
5. Follow and clarify customer open claims resulting from price or amount differences, quality and logistic errors.
6. Develop, realize and track measures to reduce open claims.
F. Reporting and process optimization
1. Optimize business processes proactively by self-initiated analyzing and identifying weaknesses and improvement potentials. Develop and realize improvement measures in consultation with the supervisor to improve processes and interfaces in a sustainable way.
G. Lifecycle Management
1. Proactively coordinate project ramp-ups and downs and changes between internal and external partners, as well as agree required business conditions.
2. Coordinate production relocations from customer information and location qualification to advanced production volumes and negotiation of conditions such as price and delivery conditions.
H. Information Management
1. Correct, maintain and supervise customer, project and commercial data (e.g. EOP/VSE, price bindings, minimum order quantities, classic mark, delivery obligation, discontinuation approval) in sales databases (e.g. OTP-Tool) as well guarantee maximum data quality as basis for identifying business potential.
2. Create prognosis of sales quantities and prices in respect to annual business plans.
3. Supports in creating and developing OES-specific reporting and transparency tools.
4. Plan, maintain and track result improvement measures within relevant tools (e.g. TPP, GE-Fit, Lion) in consultation with the supervisor.
