The Sales Coordinator provides key support for the Disney Publishing sales and licensing team across a variety of projects and deliverables. This multi-faceted and detail-oriented role will interact and work closely with internal team members and counterparts across Disney Publishing as well as external parties. Through flexibility, efficiency and prioritization, they will serve as point of contact for numerous and wide-ranging project action steps, keeping stakeholders informed of progress with timely communication and meeting deadlines.
You will report to the Vice President, Sales & Retail Strategy.
Responsibilities/You Will:
Assist with launch meeting and sales conference event planning, note-taking, and follow-up.
Organize, plan, and own invite distributions for team or sales-led events.
Manage account requests for sales assets.
Pull catalog or retail sku lists, build online catalog collections on request.
Work with various internal departments to meet sales needs in a timely manner.
Run sales reports from distributor’s systems as requested.
Formulate sales data (Excel) for presentation purposes.
Archive sales recaps and reporting in digital folders.
Create/track title calendar and estimates versus goals.
Understand basic distribution process to submit orders or assist in troubleshooting orders, tracking, etc.
Assist the Sales team as needed including accessing creative materials and monitoring production details.
Support the Director, Licensing and team as directed on a variety of projects including, asset curation & recommendations, cataloging and facilitating fulfillment needs of selective licensees and internal purposes.
Includes special projects for team that ties into retail and marketing requests, project trackers, system admin, data collection, etc.
Communicate with external North America licensees based on project needs and information to be shared for planning purposes.
Liaise on Business Affairs related clearances including collecting & curating requests, info gathering and completing necessary forms.
Complete special projects as assigned by the Director, including consolidated title lists, cross department event related invitation and information gathering, competitive market and trend research and support on building presentations.
Support Direct-to-Consumer development pipeline, tracking project aspects for each campaign as directed.
Handle highly confidential, sensitive information on behalf of a publicly traded company.
General support for department leads.
Basic Qualifications/You Have:
1-3 years in a sales support or publishing support role, ideally from the publishing industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Keynote
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all professional level
Self-starter, motivated, proactive, dependable, solution oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Ability to multi-task deadlines and deliverables
Proven organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills
Ability to lift books (up to 30 lbs.)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in publishing industry

The hiring range for this position in New York is $50,800.00 to $68,000.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job Posting Segment:
