Sales Coordinator to Scania Cross Brand Operations

About Us

Our team, Scania Cross Brand Operations, is part of a global matrix organization connected to Scania Business Control and the finance team of TRATON Group Industrial Functions (GIF Finance). We collaborate with R&D, Production, and Procurement functions to enhance efficient collaboration between all brands in the group. Scania Cross Brand Operations is a constantly growing business unit responsible for all introduced supply and license businesses to TRATON partners from both sales and procurement perspectives.

 

The role

As a Sales Coordinator, you will manage and maintain the sales portfolio of Scania manufactured parts and components to TRATON partners. The role involves working closely with other cross functional Scania and TRATON partner organizations to secure new part introductions, production control and change management. You will ensure that sales runs smoothly and efficiently by providing logistical, administrative, and customer service support. This job opportunity is the first of its kind in the history of Scania and by that offers an amount of carte blanche to form in order to reach the outspoken targets and requirements.  

 

Main responsibilities:

Create and continuously maintain the sales program in SAP S4 Hana system. Create and maintain master data to enable procurement in SAP S/4. Perform price calculations based on agreed methods and process price updates in SAP S/4 Hana. Monitor, plan, and execute program changes supported by related cross functions. Act as a purchaser to enable intra-TRATON procurement. Quotation preparation for intra-TRATON support -and prototype deliveries. Participate in cross-functional processes such as part introduction and change management from the TRATON group perspective to enable smooth changes and  was reduction. Actively participate in Cross Brand Operations’ process and business development work. Develop and maintain good relationships with counterparts within TRATON, its brands, and other external partners

 

Your profile

Academic degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. Business-minded with an interest in combining technical, commercial, and financial aspects. Comfortable working with a large network and in close collaboration with various functions within Scania and TRATON. Very good knowledge of Sales Management in SAP S/4HANA environment and general IS/IT competence. Proactive attitude with a desire to improve and develop working methods. Advanced proficiency in English; other languages are a merit. Located in Södertälje, Sweden, with the possibility to work remotely some days per week. Comfortable navigating and driving questions forward in areas where processes and tasks are not fully decided or clear. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration and at least 2-3 years of related work experience. Commercial experience is a plus, and we value diversity in experiences and competencies.
