Responsibilities GENERAL FUNCTION: Working hand in hand with the Customer and the Sales team, the Sales Design Engineer designs and quotes US Government compliant low voltage security systems consisting of intrusion detection systems (IDS), access control systems (ACS) and closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera systems and networks dedicated to the security system. Interfaces with the sales team to develop quotes based on requirements as informed by site surveys data collected and fully communicated to Advantor. Conduct engineering site survey to document specific requirements and conditions to enable an accurate security design and quotation. Conduct designs and quotation data to ensure they are accurate for the requirement Coordinates with both customers and internal departments as needed to ensure designs and equipment are properly deployed to meet the design requirements Maintains timely and accurate communications records with customer to brief the company. Regularly travel within S. Korea and occasional travel to other AOR locations Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education / Certifications: Minimum five years of experience in the Electronic Security Industry Minimum two years of technical education. Experience can be substituted for education. Experienced in security system design, wiring, retrofitting, integration, and/or installation Experience in reading and interpreting Security Systems Specifications and facility drawing packages. Familiarity with meeting customer and corporate requirements within the AOR Experience with the following software applications Office 2010/2013, Internet Explorer Adobe Acrobat X Professional Windows 10 Professional Experience / Skills: Able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment to include over-time Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to drive clarity from ambiguity and ensure understanding between internal and external customers Must work well with others in a team and matrixed management environment Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET Security Clearance We are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and supports the contributions of each individual.
