Build the business in the assigned market segment by assisting the sales team in meeting specific volume targets while providing a high level of service to our customers in bakery chains and self-service stores. Promote the use of our Gourmet brands with the goal of supporting our customers with developments and/or proposals to make their businesses more profitable while simultaneously expanding their product portfolios. Ensure that orders placed are delivered on time and in the correct manner to assigned customers. Additionally, address and/or escalate any technical and/or commercial needs that arise from our customers to provide solutions to their opportunities. Key responsibilities include: + Identify and attract new and potential customers to generate sales for the BC Gourmet brands. + Manage assigned existing customers to develop and maintain accounts. + Achieve sales volume targets for the assigned territory. + Demonstrate and explain products and services to persuade customers to make purchases. + Effectively follow up throughout the sales and post-sales process with the purchasing managers of new + or existing customers. + Promote training sessions and available services for customers through theChocolate Academy™or technical support. + Participate in brand trade shows, demonstrations, and events as needed. + Analyze competitors' methods in advertising, sales promotions, and identify areas where we can improve our market approach. About you: + Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration, or a related business field / 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the food ingredients industry. + Experienced in selling food ingredients for bakery, pastry, chocolate, dairy, confectionery, and large food processing companies in Mexico; knowledge of the Food Service and Retail industries. + Proven track record in sales and business, with strong negotiation skills and a history of high-impact sales in revenue and volume. + Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all business partners. + Goal-oriented with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to interact with a variety of internal and external customers. + Intermediate English proficiency. + Availability to travel. + Frequent customer visits / Market route.
