Sales Developer - Life Science | BioPharma | Pharma
**Job Location: New Jersey or Massachusetts** **Job description:** The role is responsible for the engineering sales for Engineering, R&D Services to ensure effective sales strategies are in place to achieve revenue and profitability objectives for the company. We also partner with other departments to remove roadblocks and develop data/tools to accelerate sales and lead key customer relationships. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Identify and Target Clients:** Focus on researching, mapping, targeting, pharmaceutical and biotech prospects involved in research and development, engineering services, and manufacturing in North America. + **Sales Strategy:** Promote, articulate, and implement sales strategies to sell solutions/services using validated arguments tailored to existing and new customers within the R&D, engineering, and manufacturing segment of life sciences companies in collaboration with the client partner or overall account manager. + **Relationship Building:** Build and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers and partners within the pharma and biotech sectors while simultaneously collaborating closely within a matrixed global internal ecosystem to successfully implement global solutions. + **Sales Acumen:** Validated sales experience driving effective lead generation, acceleration of pipeline qualification, negotiation and closing opportunities for clients with the objective of driving differentiating client value and profitable growth. + **Global Orchestration:** Work closely with internal teams across global geographies including coordination with various support functions including marketing, delivery, operations, product development, engineering, and customer support, to ensure success and service delivery. + **Solution Development:** Develop compelling repeatable value solutions personalized to client context, upselling, cross-selling client value propositions and successful proposals/solutions that efficiently drive deals to closure aligned to client’s biggest engineering challenges, preferences and purchasing triggers. + **Relationship Management:** Be a trusted advisor to client bringing proactive thought leadership and points of views, while leading periodic business reviews and measures to that efficiently gain traction with the customer. + **Pipeline Management:** Responsible for updating deal status, advancing sales stages, qualification of opportunities, order booking, deal profitability, run pipeline reports in a timely manner in our CRM **Requirements:** + 5 years of Sales experience (80% hunter / 20% account management) selling product engineering and technology services in Pharma and Biopharma. + Must have a strong understanding of key trends and shifts in the market. + Experience selling solutions in areas in the R&D and Manufacturing Value Chain (in Discovery, Clinical, Regulatory, Safety, Labs, Manufacturing, Safety) would preferred. + Experience in solution selling in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Digital Solutions, Quality Management Systems (QMS) Veeva, Argus, AI / Gen AI is highly desirable. + Ability to find opportunities and build creative solutions for the client. + Won and led deals of $5-10 million annually and independently. + Track record of deep, consultative, trust-based relationships at the senior level and strong knowledge, understanding of client’s business. + Develop sales plan for the assigned geography and individual Account Plans. + Identification, mobilization, and management of internal and external partners for achieving revenues. + Understands and drives company strategy (financials, profitability, cash flow offerings, segments, target accounts). + Ability to lead one large or multiple small programs. \#LI-JE1 **Life at Capgemini** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
