Sales Development Engineer

Job Summary 
The Sales Development Engineer (SDE) role is designed for engineers who want to develop careers in technical sales and marketing. You will benefit from extensive training programs, including training on Emerson Test & Measurement Business Group (NI) 's products and related technologies, our sales process, public speaking, instructor skills, and on our customers and markets they serve.
We're seeking dedicated individuals who excel in teams and enjoy engaging with customers to discuss intricate engineering challenges. Applicants will demonstrate resilience and a passion to excel. The ideal candidate will confidently share new insights and stay updated on market developments, competitors, customer demand, and new product lines. They will continuously develop their technical skills, customer understanding, and soft skills.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
•    Spend your first 3 months in rapid learning, gaining expertise with NI tools and our sales process while supporting T&M group customers and their technical challenges
•    Balance your time between inbound sales demand, marketing generated leads, customer presentations and demos, and your prospecting activities to generate new demand and pipeline
•    Develop test and measurement expertise to equip you for your future career
•    Identify demand and bring up opportunities to Account Managers to drive growth
•    Provide coaching and mentorship to others within the team
•    Work cooperatively with many departments at NI, including sales, marketing, technical support, operations, and business units
•    Travel to customer sites to open new relations and present values NI can offer
•    Collaborate with our partner and distribution channel
•    Create a business plan to drive business success in your territory, identifying the right actions and resources to needed to support business outcomes

For This Role, You Will Need:
•    Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent experience in the relevant industry
•    Strong desire to pursue a long-term career in technical sales and marketing
•    Proven understanding of electronics, computers, and high-level programming languages (C, Python, LabVIEW, etc)
•    Ability to relocate to Seoul, KR
•    Up to 20% of time for travel
•    Korean and English language competency and effective communication skill
•    Competence in understanding the Korea market and commercial practice 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
•    Experience with LabVIEW or test instrumentation
•    Previous sales or customer facing experience
•    Leadership of teams, organizations, or projects will provide a step up into the program
•    Confidence presenting to audiences with a diverse group of backgrounds and experiences
