The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic thinker with a deep understanding sales development and marketing. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of relevant experience in sales development, sales marketing or similar area with a strong focus on narrative crafting, packaging and storytelling for digital advertising. This role requires someone who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, deliver results, and ensure seamless communication with sales teams. This is a individual contributor role and a fantastic opportunity to make your mark, as this is the first hire for the Sales Development team and will report directly to the Director of GTM and Sales PMO.
Role and Responsibilities
This senior individual contributor will spearhead the development and execution of sales development and marketing strategies to bolster global sales efforts. This role is pivotal in crafting compelling sales narratives, enriching the sales toolkit, and ensuring uniform excellence across our market presence. The ideal candidate will be a beacon of knowledge and support for our sales teams, providing tailored resources to meet the diverse demands of our customer base.
Responsibilities:
Create and dissipate global sales development and marketing materials, aligning closely with New Product Solutions (NPS), Marketing, Insights, and Sales teams to curate innovative offerings and packages that resonate with key customer segments.Design and implement a comprehensive framework for sales pitches and media kits that enhances sales team efficacy and ensures quality consistency.Maintain a dynamic roadmap for the development and rollout of product packages and offerings, streamlining go-to-market strategies for new product introductions and advertising formats.Build sales development tools including, pitch decks, fact sheets, competitive analyses, and objection handling, facilitating an impactful sales narrative and a persuasive selling processIntroduce and monitor key performance indicators and feedback systems to refine and optimize future offerings, both in products and in their own materials.Stay abreast of industry trends to evolve our advertising solutions proactively, identifying emerging marketing opportunities and client requirements.Collaborate with the Marketing team to seize opportunities to engage the digital advertising market, crafting and distributing compelling narratives and press materials.Lead the charge in identifying unique market opportunities and tailoring sales development initiatives to regional nuances (i.e: custom offers / storytelling, and regional thought leadership initiatives).Educate and empower regional teams to leverage existing assets effectively, ensuring they are well-versed in articulating unique selling propositions and key offer positioning.Maintain, measure and curate our Content Management System to ensure only the best and most up to date materials are readily available to our sales teams.Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of experience in sales development, sales marketing or similar area with a strong focus on narrative crafting, packaging and storytelling for digital advertising.Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.Skills:Excellent organizational and project management skills.Outstanding PowerPoint design abilities.A master at storytelling.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in using CRM software and marketing automation tools.Familiar with Atalassian (Confluence), MediaFly, and other content distribution systems.Familiar with third party insights platforms (e.g. eMarketer, Nielsen, Comscore, Collage).Attributes:Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.High level of attention to detail.Self-motivated and results oriented.Team player with a collaborative mindset.Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and within matrixed organizations.Preferred Qualifications:
Previously owned sales marketing or sales development programs.Deep experience in the digital ads industry.Competent in graphical design so as to not be dependent on other professionals to ship materials.Salary Range Pay Transparency: Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York, NY is expected to be between $160,000~$180,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
