**Sales Development Manager, District Energy, Commercial Building Service Division**

**What is the job about?**
The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for developing sales & supporting the sales companies globally within the District Energy vertical business scope and the framework of the strategies and policies of the company to deliver our sales targets.
The role reports to the Head of Sales Development, District Energy, CBS
**Your main responsibilities**
+ As part of Global Sales Development, the duties of the District Energy Sales Developer will include travel to different global locations to fulfil our commitments with our customers and support regional sales teams to grow sales revenue and pipeline in the District Energy Vertical within the defined scope.
+ The Sales Developer should provide help and support (including but not limited to application & product support, customer presentations & interactions etc.) to the sales teams to bring new offerings/scale existing offerings to the District Energy market.
+ The Sales Developer should have a ‘Can-do’ attitude and then proceed to make it happen. Take direct responsibility for delivering on key tasks within the District Energy Vertical team. Providing help and support with customer visits, exhibitions, seminars, webinars and presentations.
+ Develop & deploy materials in close collaboration with global marketing, to strengthen the sales and marketing toolbox for the district energy vertical providing resources to position Grundfos as a thought leader within the vertical globally.
+ Organize training for Grundfos employees and clients, develop training presentations and tailor-made presentations to the customer’s and sales team’s needs.
+ The Sales Developer should ensure continuous growth of the District Energy offerings and opportunities. To provide ‘value added selling’ to all our offers (i.e., from pumps to systems) & to understand 3rd party products & establishing Grundfos as a one stop shop for the customer.
+ The Sales Developer should provide help & support to the sales teams on understanding District Energy requirements, legislation & standards.
+ The Sales Developer should develop relations with peer/ecosystem companies to gain beneficial partnerships, where applicable.
**Your background:**
We imagine that you have:
+ Ability to lead a business process within Commercial Building Services.
+ Most likely to have 3-4 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.
+ Knowledge of the applications and activities within the functional area in District Energy,
+ Strong ability to influence others and possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, for District Energy
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering
