Overview
We’re seeking a results-driven Sales Development Manager to play a key role in driving the growth of our B2B business by leading and elevating our SDR team. You will manage and develop a team of 15 SDRs, all based remotely in the Philippines, through direct coaching and by empowering their local team leads. This role will focus on skill-building, performance optimization, and strategy alignment, enhancing our SDRs' effectiveness in cold calling and emailing by emphasizing personalization, discovery, and relevance.
In this role, you will
Lead and Coach SDR Teams: Provide direct leadership and coaching to two teams of remote SDRs, focusing on meeting and exceeding pipeline generation goals. Develop team leads in the Philippines to foster growth and accountability within their teams.Skill Development and Training Programs: Design and implement comprehensive training programs to upskill SDRs in cold outreach and personalized engagement, building expertise in areas such as discovery, relevance, and rapport-building in prospect communications.
Motivate and Drive Team Performance: Create a high-energy, performance-driven environment to motivate remote SDRs to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals. Use tools and strategies to keep remote teams connected, engaged, and focused.
Monitor Performance and Continuous Improvement: Track and evaluate individual and team performance against pipeline generation targets. Provide constructive feedback, conduct one-on-ones, and guide SDRs in overcoming challenges and developing resilience.
Host Collaborative Meetings and Share Best Practices: Organize regular team meetings to share successful strategies, celebrate wins, and address common challenges. Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting best practices across teams.
Collaborate with Recruitment for Hiring and Onboarding: Partner with the recruiting team to identify and hire SDRs who align with our culture and growth objectives. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience to integrate new hires into the team.
Identify Market Trends and Competitive Insights: Stay informed of market shifts and competitor activities to adjust SDR outreach strategies, improve messaging relevance, and provide insights back to the marketing and sales teams.
Align with Sales and Marketing Goals: Work closely with sales and marketing leaders to ensure SDR initiatives are aligned with overarching company goals, sharing valuable insights and feedback from prospect interactions.
Team Culture and Engagement: Organize presentations and team-building activities to promote a collaborative and positive team culture, ensuring team members feel valued and connected despite the remote setup.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience managing SDRs in a sales or business development role, ideally within the software industry. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive team performance in a remote environment. Experience in HR tech or software solutions is a plus. Exceptional coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for developing talent. Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing a distributed team with an inclusive approach. Proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, or equivalent CRM and prospecting tools.Why work for Boundless?
