Position Overview
As the Sales Development Manager, you will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads. Your primary focus will be generating a sales pipeline through effective outbound prospecting strategies. You will work closely with your Sales partners to develop and implement territory development plans and align SDR activities to meet quarterly goals. This role requires you to closely monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to coach and develop your team, refine sales strategies, and meet revenue targets in alignment with your Sales partners.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), including recruiting, hiring, and training new team members.Consistently meet or exceed team objectives for activity, hiring, pipeline creation, and revenue.Work directly with sales leadership to ensure alignment between SDRs and Account Executives (AEs) on processes, messaging, and strategies; including list building and target account identification.Monitor and refine the sales pitches and communication strategies of SDRs to improve engagement rates, focusing on effective messaging and objection handling.Design and execute targeted outbound calling programs, conduct mock calling exercises, and organize call blitzes to drive performance.Drive a multi-channel prospecting strategy, leveraging phone, email, LinkedIn, video, direct mail, and other emerging channels to maximize engagement.Champion personalization in outreach by leveraging intent data, industry insights, and account-specific research to craft compelling messaging.Identify and resolve process bottlenecks, data issues, and inconsistencies in processes, systems, and strategies.Run effective one-on-one meetings with SDRs to provide analysis, coaching, performance management, and support for career growth.Provide individualized mentorship and coaching to SDRs to foster continuous performance improvement and skill development.Education and Experience
2-5 years of experience as a Sales Development Manager with a background as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role.Proven ability to lead, develop, and advance direct reports into higher roles within the organization.Generates and achieves quarterly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts quarterly generated pipeline.Recent successful experience and shown ability to develop a prospect pipeline via targeted outbound prospecting and engaging business executives.Proficient in Sales Development tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and Nooks, with a deep understanding of their capabilities.Ability to establish credibility and build strong relationships with field sales teams to ensure seamless collaboration.Experience in SaaS, B2B technology, or the Human Capital Management (HCM) space preferred.Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.This role is based in Lake Mary, FL, and requires an in-office presence with hybrid work flexibility.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position $51,700-$95,900/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for our variable commission plan and offers a full range of benefits outlined here.
