We are looking for a highly experienced Sales Development Manager to drive Danfoss market share development in our Editron business in Japan. To be successful, the incumbent must drive a clear go-to-market strategy with an inclusive approach and strong opportunity management in the country. As a team player, the incumbent should continuously harness full transparency and drive active decisions on how to position Danfoss in the Editron business based on pipeline management.
Job Responsibilities Development of electrification business in certain geographical area with the customers where Danfoss Power Solutions is present (in co-operation with the responsible Account Manager) with new customers (new business development) Selection of the appropriate sales channel for new business and management of the hand-over of the customers to the DPS OEM/Distribution Sales organization or Cross Segment Sales (DPD).Management of the direct customers owned by Editron BU in certain geographical area. Coordinating the sales initiatives and win plans in the defined focus areas in co-operation with the global Editron BU sales team. Being the expert and primary contact person for the electrification On/Off-Highway for the global sales organization (DPS OEM/Distribution Sales) in certain geographical area. Actively supporting the Account Managers and joining them on customer visits to promote the Editron technology. Supporting DPS OEM/Distribution Sales Managers with electrification business if necessary. Collecting the product requirements to the BU product management and R&D teams. Background & Skills Bachelor´s degree or above Experience from B2B area, preferably from the industrial/project environment 3-5 years of experience in Business Development of Mobile Machines Electrification Projects 5-10 years working experience in the On/Off-Highway industry Solid business experience in strategy, finance and planning Strong business acumen with solid negotiation and presentation skills Ability to translate customers’ needs into compelling product and/or service propositions Effective communication and networking skills - both internal (across all relevant functions) and external (customers) Self-motivated, service-oriented individual having a customer centric mindset Ambitious and has a strong drive to succeed.
