Sales Development Manager (F/M/X)

About the role

Our Coatis Sales and Marketing team, composed of 11 people, focuses on supplying local customers in collaboration with the locals teams. As a Sales development manager, you will work on developing and managing new business on bio-based solvents mainly, within the assigned market area. You will be accountable for: Gathering business information, developing commercial tactical plans and executing them in order to generate benefit and added value for the company Finding, developing and closing qualified leads Identifying new business opportunities, managing new business relationships Developing submarkets for new product/market combinations We offer a fixed-term (9 months) contract based on hybrid working mode and approximately 60-70% of travel within EMEA.

 

About you

Relevant education degree. Relevant commercial experience in the chemical industry including customer interaction required Competencies: Previous experience in solvents, polymers, water treatment, fragrances, homecare and paper chemicals preferred Ability to educate customers/colleagues both on the technical aspects of the molecules and products on the commercial side Behaviors: Initiative Autonomy and enthusiast Strong desire to learn and share knowledge within technical teams

 

About the pay and benefits

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (France) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 73 000 euros to 91 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
