The Problems You’ll Solve Engage with companies who reach out to Carta with interest via our website, LinkedIn, and in-product Execute a thoughtful, "every lead matters" cold outreach campaign to investors in the venture space Work with Carta Account Executives to secure meetings and follow deals through close Provide timely and accurate front-line support for all prospective customers interested in Carta Venture Capital Execute cold outreach campaigns leveraging a "customer first" approach to investors and finance leaders in the venture and private equity space  The Team You’ll Work With

Carta’s Sales Development Representatives are the driving force of our upward trajectory. These reps launch targeted outreach campaigns to Venture Capital firms and leaders in the space daily in effort to streamline their fund's operations. 

We pride ourselves on investing in our team and promoting from within. All SDR’s receive training on Carta software, private market finance, and VC operations along with ongoing training in consultative sales, client management, negotiation and sales operations.

The Impact You’ll Have

You’ll engage with Venture Capital firms to intimately understand their business and how Carta can help streamline their fund's operations. Carta SDRs become masters of opening doors in the venture community.

About You Strong problem solving and communication skills Proven ability to execute in a fast paced, team environment with excellent time and task management skills Articulate, poised, and concise Customer-Facing Experience (direct prospecting experience is a plus)  Track record of success in a lead generation role is a plus Experience in venture capital, private equity, institutional investing, or wealth management is a plus Proficient on SFDC and outreach Track record of success in a strategic lead generation role (is a must) Excellent time and task management skills  Able to execute and present monthly strategic outbound approach to stake holders  Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our expected cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:

  $76,500 -  base in New York, New York

We are hiring for multiple levels and locations, so final offers may vary from the amounts listed based on geography, experience and expertise, and other factors.
