\nPitchBook's Sales Development Representatives work diligently to engage and convert inbound leads into new sales opportunities for our Sales Team. Sales Development Representatives contribute to the delivery of overall sales goals by engaging warm leads through consistent outreach by way of phone, email, and LinkedIn to book product demos.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
\n\nAchieve outlined goals and key performance indicators while upholding values and providing an excellent experience for prospective customers\nBook qualified product demonstrations for our sales team\nConnect with leads through written and verbal communication\nUtilize tool stack as instructed to work through lead pipeline and maintain accurate records\nAct as a consultant and take the time to understand your prospects needs and business priorities to address appropriately\nConduct thorough discovery both pre-call and during call\nComplete company and team assigned training\nSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors\nParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requested\n\n\n
Skills and Qualifications:
\n\nBachelor’s degree\nPrior sales internship experience preferred but not necessary\nPrior experience with tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and LeanData/BookIt preferred but not necessary\nDemonstrate fearless curiosity and operate with a strong sense of urgency to deliver results\nMaintain prioritization and organization based on team strategy and goals\nPossess strong negotiation skills to effectively book inbound leads\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nA self-starter with a competitive spirit but also team oriented\nInterested in the capital markets\nProficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily\n\n\n

Compensation
\n\nAnnual base salary: $65,000\nAnnual on target variable commission of fully ramped representative meeting expectations: $27,500\nPitchBook currently has no cap on commission and commission is determined by individual performance\n\n\n
Working Conditions:
\nWe believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 5 days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
\nThe job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
