Sales Development Representative, Supplier Sales

The ideal candidate for the Sales Development Representative role will be excited about working at a high-growth technology company with a high-performance culture. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling meetings for the Business Development Team. We will ideally find someone who is excited about a career in sales and is smart, positive, personable, and always looking for new and creative ways to drive customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls and emails Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams by setting appointments Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field Advanced verbal and written English skills  Must be comfortable making 60–80 outbound calls per day to prospective clients 0-2+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably in outbound sales or new business development Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships quickly Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience using CRM software and other sales tools preferred Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
